Its varieties:
Kaveri – It is a hybrid variety of ‘Purple’ and ‘Yellow’ passion fruit. These varieties are purple in colour at maturity and are high-yielding and highly tolerant to leaf spot disease.
Purple –The purple passion fruit is more productive and is grown at higher elevations. More prolific and heavy bearer with larger fruits.
Yellow – The Yellow variety of passion fruit is tolerant to wilt, brown leaf spot, thrips, and nematodes.
